Biography

Christoph Moschberger is one of the most popular trumpets in the German music scene. Christoph Moschberger studied Jazz Trumpet at the Kölner Musikhochschule. Since the beginning of his studies, he has been a regular guest of the »WDR Big Band«, with whom he has made numerous concerts and CD productions, often with international greats of the jazz scene.

Moschberger is also a welcome guest at the »heavytones«. For the first time, he joined Stefan Raabs's casting show "Unser Star für Baku" in addition to Rüdiger Baldauf. Since then, Moschberger has been showing up again and again, when Baldauf is prevented, and has already performed at many »TV Total« broadcasts and some live concerts with the band.

In addition to his passion for jazz and pop music, Christoph Moschberger already has a great passion for traditional brass music. The fact that Ernst Hutter brought him into his »Egerländer Musikanten« in 2011 was, so to speak, the "blow-music knight strike". Founded 60 years ago by Ernst Mosch, the orchestra continues to be the most successful wind orchestra in the world and is undoubtedly still the best in its genre. In 2016 Moschberger is on a great jubilee tour with the "Egerländer Musikanten".
