Hailing from North London, singer-songwriter Johnny Lloyd toured the world as a member of Tribes before leaving the band in 2014 in favour of his solo career.
In addition to his own headlining tour, he has also supported bands such as The Maccabees and Goo Goo Dolls as a live artist.
Johnny's guitar playing is clearly influenced by '70s rock 'n' roll, complemented by ever-changing stylistic elements that constantly expand the musical vocabulary of his tracks. According to him, a key to his songwriting approach is to write starting with the chorus in mind. Through his own constant evolution as an artist, he also keeps exploring the possible depths of his music anew.
